Casual Sunday and a splash of khaki today with my outfit. I've noticed khaki slowly trickling back into the new season trends and I'm interested to see what the retailers have in store for us. I've always had a bit of a love hate relationship with khaki, sometimes I find it really plain and a bit dull but then I realise it's one of those colours that is all about the finishing touches.
I've had this tiered parka in my wardrobe for a few years now, it was from Simply Be quite some time ago, it's still in perfect condition and it's so pretty that I just can't bare to part with it. When I saw it hanging on my coat rail this afternoon as I was rushing to get out of the house I thought I'd give it another outing and threw it on.
Although I said I'm trying to wear all of the stuff I already have I did go on a bit of a shopping spree yesterday as I took a trip to Merry Hill (one of the best places to shop plus size in the Midlands, in my opinion) and one of the things I purchased were these gorgeous brown cut out ankle boots from Yours Clothing. I've had my eye on them for ages and when I saw them in the sale for £17 I knew it was my time to own them, don't they look perfect with this little smock dress from Simply Be?
