I haven't reviewed one of my GlossyBox's for a while but I was really pleased with my January box. I've incorporated nearly all of the items into my makeup bag very easily as they work perfectly in my beauty routine.
Eye Line Pencil in 'Clay' - MeMeMe
Colorluxe Powder Blush - Nicka K New York
Organic Lip Balm Superfruits - Naked Lips
All Over Glow - Jelly Pong Pong
Revitalizing Face Toner - Kueshi Natural & Pleasant Cosmetics
Top - Colorluxe Powder Blush
Middle - All Over Glow
Bottom - Eye Line Pencil in 'Clay'
I'm yet to try the lip balm from the box as I'm a Carmex kinda gal. So unless I've run out or can't find my little Carmex pot then I'll maybe reach for the Naked Lips and give that a whirl; however the other items from the box are great, especially the MeMeMe pencil. I've never really been one for brown eyeliners as I've always gone straight for black but after having a play with this one I'm definitely a convert. It's such a soft, easy to use pencil, perfect for smudging over your upper lash line and even more perfect for along your lower lash line to create some depth to your eye makeup without it being 'too much' if you get me? Sometimes I find that black liners can be a bit too dramatic for casual daytime looks but now I've given this one a go I really like the pretty, slightly glam but more casual look it helps create.
Combine the eyes with a dab of the All Over Glow on the apples of my cheeks and a couple of spots of the Colorluxe blush just below and this is how my makeup looked for an afternoon at the pub eating burgers (for a change, I know!) and waffles!
Unfortunately the January GlossyBox is now sold out but after having a nosy over at their site their February box is a Valentines themed edition with four full sized items! I shall be very interested to see what surprises turn up next month...
