Denim Blues and Sparkly Spring Hues: Plus Size Outfit

So, I kinda hate this time of year. There's no real definite trend, everything is kind of dragging on from the last Autumn/Winter season, the shops are full of sale stuff that's been sat in the back of every retailers warehouse just begging for January to arrive (not that I don't like a sale!) and it's still too chilly to even think about Spring/Summer fashion.

This time of year I like pieces that are sustainable, I don't mind a bit of fast fashion but I like stuff that I'm gonna dig out of my wardrobe time and time again regardless of what the current 'trend' is. I find denim PERFECT for this. It's so versatile, goes with pretty much every trend and lives in your wardrobe forever ready to be picked out time and time again. I recently invested in a new pair of skinny jeans from Evans and they are AMAZING, their 'Ultra Stretch' skinny jeans in my opinion are the holy grail in plus size skinny denim, you must check them out.

The outfit I've thrown on today includes some stunning knitwear from the guys over at JD Williams that they kindly gifted me. They have some really awesome knitwear pieces, from snuggly oversize cardigans, sparkly dressy up jumpers (like the one I'm wearing in this post) and lots of really pretty pastels. I was really surprised as JD Williams isn't a retailer I'd have probably shopped with before but I will definitely be returning. Not to mention the awesome accessories they have (check my FABULOUS bag)!
