So I had my first Christmas party of 2014 on Saturday evening and it was FABULOUS!
After putting together lots of outfit inspiration for you guys over the last few days I had a bit of an outfit dilemma myself on the evening.
As I was one of the organisers of my office party this year I've spent the last few weeks putting so much effort into the actual party I forgot about myself. I spent the whole day on Saturday getting the room dressed for the evening that I only ended up with about an hour and a half to get myself dressed for an evening of festive fun. I had three little black dresses to choose from, I knew I was going to have very limited time to get ready and an LBD would be the easiest thing to get myself glammed up in. I had a sparkly number that I had from Yours Clothing last year, a frou frou shouldered number from Simply Be from last year and last but not least and the dress I actually went for a Little Mistress dress that I picked up on the TK Maxx website for £14!
Now, this dress must have been a total one off as Little Mistress do have a 'plus size range' of sorts called 'Curvy' but they're dresses typically only run up to a UK size 24 or 26. I was given a tip off on Facebook that TK Maxx had a couple of Little Mistress dresses in their clearance section in a UK size 26 and miraculously a UK size 28. I thought TK Maxx had made a mistake so in an effort to catch them out I ordered one of the size 28 dresses totally expected that it was an error or just sized incorrectly; However I was proven very wrong when the dress arrived and fit me perfectly! My only issue now is that Little Mistress don't make their dresses in larger plus sizes all the time as they're beautiful! I felt so glam and pretty in this dress and to top it all off it made my boobs look AMAZING!
