Diamonds 'n' Pearls: Oh So Sophisticated: Ann Harvey Outfit

This gorgeous dress is from plus size retailer Ann Harvey whom have now set up camp in none other than high street store Bon Marche. I have to be honest I have never shopped with either of these retailers before as I suppose (and I'm sure the retailers won't mind me saying this) I've always had them down as the more 'mature' brands that maybe wouldn't have anything that I would really go for; however here I am eating a nice big dish of humble pie because I honestly LOVE this dress!

When the team contacted me and asked if I'd like to review something I was really surprised when I began looking through their items as there are so many really sophisticated pieces that I could imagine dressing up for all sorts of occasions. Don't get me wrong, there are still pieces which definitely would appeal more to the mature customer but lots of items which would make really good wardrobe pieces, that with a bit of imagination and a few accessories you can really work for any age range.

I feel so sophisticated and sexy in this dress, teamed with simple black heels and this beautiful Millie Mackintosh for Dorothy Perkins Tear Drop Necklace, gives a really simple but (I think) striking look. A little goes a long way!

I am wearing the dress in a UK size 30 and you lot know me, I'd never ever usually wear anything 'bodycon' like or clingy but because of the lining in this dress it gives me a really nice shape and really eccentuates my waist, love that! Be warned though the lining is stretchy and comfy but the lace overlay has no stretch and is quite tight. If you're a little larger than me go for the size 32, I'd say though stick to your normal size or maybe size up if you're unsure, especially if you're bigger in the tummy like I am.
