Frills, Checks and Pleather: Outfit

I went out for brunch on Sunday afternoon with my brother and his fiance the lovely Jess. It was lovely to sit down and chat to the two of them about something mega awesome; they have finally set a date for their wedding and they have asked me to be a bridesmaid!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

We had a lovely afternoon chattering away about wedding stuff in a cafe not far from us set in a local beauty spot. The Railway Cafe in Wombourne is set on a disused railway track and on mild Autumn days it is beautifully autumnal and pretty. If you're in the area and looking to go for a nice afternoon stroll to walk off Sunday lunch with the dogs, or bike ride and grab a nice spot of tea afterwards I seriously recommend this place, they do the yummiest warm scones and jam *NOM*.

I wasn't really dressed for an afternoon of walking but I really liked my outfit. I'd thrown on a dress I bought last year from Yours Clothing. I never wore it when I bought it so when I saw it sitting at the bottom of my wardrobe a few days ago I thought I'd give it some life, I even got my bare legs out. I'm still really enjoying having holiday skin at the moment so I'm not scared of getting my legs out. Teamed with my cut out boots, biker jacket and some cute ankle socks (cause I'm all about ankle socks at the moment, don't ask me where that came from) I really enjoyed this little look...

Yours Clothing actually have a similar version of this dress again this year, it's in a different colour but apart from that it is the same style. It's very generous in size so you could size down once, maybe even twice as there is so much stretch in it. All of the items I am wearing are either from old seasons or you can't get them online so I've linked to the most similar items I can find.

I'll have to try and give it some more wear before the season ends. What do you think? Oh and if you've got any plus size wedding ideas then let me know!
