Tiers & Tutu's: Evans Collective Show and What I Wore

Sometimes plus size fashion makes me frustrated and annoyed but on Tuesday 16th September 2014 plus size fashion made me really proud to be part of it whilst in attendance at the Design Collective for Evans show, the first time a plus size retailer has EVER shown at London Fashion Week.

Evans has collaborated with an outstanding range of designers to bring us a fashion first; high end fashion designs reworked and combined with the plus size specialism of Evans bringing us a Spring/Summer 2015 to be very excited about.

Pleats, sheer floaty fabrics, sequins and satin all screamed hazy summer iridescence and oh my, did I love it! I am very excited to see this on the store rails, I can't imagine it's going to be for your average plus size woman who just wants to 'cover up', but at least high end reworks are an actual choice on the high street in plus size and long may it continue!

And what does one wear to a fashion week show? Oh my! I was in such a panic about what to throw on but in the end I opted for a bit of girly/boyish tutu'ish glam...

Slogan tee tucked into a girly, tiered, tutu like skirt bought my Sex & The City-esque dreams to life!
