Change of The Seasons: Rogers & Rogers Autumn/Winter 2014

Before I continue with this post, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all of the support I got from so many of you from my last post <here>. THANK YOU!

Anyway, it is soooooooooooooooo good to be back and feeling good again just at the turn of one of my absolutely favourite seasons for fashion, autumn!

Autumn the season of layers and chunky cardigans and ankle boots and crisp cool but warm weather, oh I love it! The moment all of the end of summer sales started and all of the 'New In' sections began to fill up with knitwear, check shirts and dark hues I was a happy girly, but nothing made me happier than when I received an email from the guys over at Matalan's plus size collection Rogers & Rogers showing me their new season collection modelled by the GORGEOUS Lucy Ann Moore (she really does make this collection look amazing!).

I shop with Rogers & Rogers regularly since the collection has taken a 'trendier' turn (I swear by their jeggings!) and picked up some really nice pieces in store a few days ago but their lovely team also offered to send me a piece which isn't even in stores or on their website yet, a PU sleeved parka which is just PERFECT (I know, I'm a lucky girly!).

PU Sleeved Parka - Rogers & Rogers, Matalan (Available around 15th September 2014)
T-Shirt - Rogers & Rogers, Matalan
Dark Blue Jeggings - Rogers & Rogers, Matalan (Similar)
New Balance U420 - Spartoo
Necklace - Primark
Headband - Peacocks

Biker jackets, pleather, acid wash, swing dresses, checked prints and some lovely light knits, Rogers & Rogers are really starting to get it! Don't get me wrong, there's still the odd hanky hem and 'twee' print but some people like those things, for those who don't there are still some really great key pieces to add to your Autumn/Winter 14 wardrobes and I don't need to rave to you again about the quality vs price point with these guys. I've washed my favourite pair of jeggings from them about a million times and they're still as good as the first time I ever wore them, anyway I digress! I raved about the brand last season after not paying them any attention for quite a while but it seems they are one of the few plus size retailers whom are really starting to up their game. Their collections are usually more capsule than extensive ranges full of endless pieces but you can definitely see the change in direction for them and I can't wait to see what else they bring to British plus size fashion in the future!
