Evenin' My Loves!
The festive party season is under way! YAY!
I had my first Christimas party of the season on Saturday night and it was so nice to get super glam and done up to the nines.
I've got a couple of Chrimbo parties and outings to attend over the next couple of weeks which means I've got a few gorgeous items to show you just in case you were still looking for the perfect party frock.
First off is a fabulous dress from the folk over at Simply Be, I cheekily asked them if they would oblige in giving me something pretty to attend my office Chrimbo bash in, they were very nice to me and let me choose the Embossed Design Prom Dress (THANK YOU!).
This is an awesome leather look dress with a very subtle floral pattern thrown in for good measure. Girly, glam, pretty and edgy for those of you who maybe want something a bit different...
Stud Clutch Bag - Old
Black Studded Heel Court Shoes - Evans
I threw my look together with lots of silver and studs, it was nice to do Christmas party glam with a little bit of a feminine touch with the floral embossed pattern and a whole load of edgy studs to toughen the look a little. Unfortunately you can't see how lovely the floral pattern is from my pictures but I assure you it's really lovely. The material of the dress is like a soft, buttery, leathery, stretchy jersey, it's quite an interesting texture, which I couldn't stop running my hands over. The dress does come with a mesh panel sewn in at the bust but I cut it out of mine as I was all about getting the boobies out, however if you're much more modest than I am you'll appreciate the coverage. I'm wearing a UK size 30 and felt it was a perfect fit for me, the dress does have loads of stretch in it even though the leather look of it makes it seem like it wouldn't have much give at all, so don't be fooled.
Don't quote me on the amount of times I say this but as you know, I swear by Simply Be for an amazing plus size party dress, they NEVER let me down when I'm looking for a bang on trend piece. My only complaint is that I can't afford their whole range!
If you're looking for a fabulous, show stopper of a dress for the festivities, definitely give Simply Be a look.
