Well, it's been a manic few days. I'm currently on annual leave from work taking time to celebrate my birthday, see friends and totally chill and so far I am achieving all of that!
My birthday was last Wednesday (as I mentioned in my last post, I don't mean to keep banging on about the fact I'm getting older!). My family aren't big about making a fuss for birthdays which I don't mind but I am all about making a fuss of myself, so I treated myself to a little box of ASOS goodness.
I got myself the current blogger favourite, the leopard swing dress, some wet look leggings, a basic black jersey swing top, a really awesome mix and match necklace and my new babies, a pair of studded Converse!
At the moment I'm kind of bored
of wearing the typically 'girly' outfits I’d usually go for i.e pretty dresses,
ballet flats and leggings, I'm all about
comfort and a tougher edge and nothing screams all of those things
to me like trainers, god I love em and whilst I'm not at work I'm utilising every opportunity to live in my new ones!
Over the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
of last week I was so busy up and down the country, living out of a suitcase
that I lived in my new Converse and wore a variation of my new ASOS
items everyday paired with really basic old items out of my wardrobe. Even on
my little birthday outing to Nando's with the girls for chicken an gossips I
opted for a really casual look pulled together with some tacky gold
accessories. So, behold, one of the very few times you'll see me in jeans (well
