Afternoon Loves!
What's the title all about? Nothing of any importance if I'm honest, I just really struggle thinking up titles for posts, so I've decided I'm going to use song lyrics for the foreseeable future, 10 points and a gold star to anyone who can name this posts song and artist? ;)
I was introduced to Yorks Bakery in Birmingham by my friend James over the weekend where we met up for a catch up over tea and cake (which subsequently descended into many bottles of wine and cocktails in another bar afterwards, but anyway). I'd bought the Toile de Jouy Print dress from ASOS Curve a few weeks ago after lusting after it for absolutely ages. I hadn't really been anywhere that I could wear it and I was sick of seeing it lifeless in my wardrobe with the tags still attached so thought sod it, where best to wear a pretty dress then to a delicious, cakey, tea filled afternoon?!
Toile de Jouy Print Dress - £28 ASOS Curve
Biker Jacket - Evans
Leggings - Evans
Studded Ankle Boot - New Look (Wide Fit)
Spiked Pearl Necklace - ASOS
I love this
dress! I say that alot about dresses but I do just absolutely love it, the
print, the colour, the fabric, the cut it was made for me! It's so sickly,
sweetly, girly that I wanted to toughen it up with my favourite spiked pearl
necklace, spiky silver bracelets, biker jacket and studded ankle boots. I think
it all kinda works?

Oh and don't forget to check out Yorks if you're in Birmingham and are a cake fiend like me! I think it's my new favourite place, thanks James! ;)
