Evenin' My Loves!
Just dropping in this evening to show off the item I received from AX Paris's Curve range for May (yes I know I'm always massively behind with these, sorry!).
I'm behind with this one particularly because I've been trying desperately to make the beautiful tunic I was sent work for me, but alas, I've had to give up as this item just doesn't fit my size 28-30 frame. I was aware that it would be trial and error with some of these AX Paris Curve items due to the range only going up to a UK size 26 so I'd been trying my best to select pieces which I could manipulate to fit my body shape.
I asked the guys if I could try the Crochet Chiffon Tunic in a size 26, hoping that the free flowing tunic shape would fit my busty frame. The tunic came and it really is lovely, beautiful chiffon overlay, with long flowing sleeves and pretty crochet and lace trim details. The lining inside the tunic is a stretchy sateen type fabric which worked perfectly but the chiffon overlay has no stretch and just kept riding up on my bust *SIGH*.
Even though I couldn't wear the tunic to show off to you, I still wanted to put together a little outfit to show how I would have liked to have worn it...
Crochet Chiffon Tunic - AX Paris Curve
Jeggings - New Look Inspire
Peeptoe Heels - Peacocks
Necklace - Primark
Gold Clutch - Jane Norman
The tunic is very true to size, if you are a size 24-26, it will fit you beautifully, however, maybe it was just me and the way my boobs lifted the tunic, but the length of it is very short, you would possibly require leggings or jeggings as tights would be out of the question unless you are incredibly brave, or you order a size bigger than what you are to get the extra length? I don't know!
But if you're looking for a piece that will last you ages and look good whatever season, dressed up, or dressed down then maybe give this little number a try! AX Paris Curve have some really cute items, check them out!
BIG LOVE
XOXOXOX
