Hey lovelies!
I wanted to give you a little roundup of my April Glossybox.
This months box Spring inspired box is in collaboration with vintage enthusiast Pearl Lowe.
The box itself is super pretty, designed in a vintage floral print, it's definitely one I will be hanging on to for a while, actually I've kept all of my empty Glossybox's they come in dead handy!
This month my box contained:
Nip + Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Pistachio
Sunsense Daily Face Tinted SPF
Yves Rocher So Elixir Purple Parfum samle
Model Co Cheek & Lip tint in Rosy Red
Essie Nail Lacquer in Nice is Nice (no.38)
My favourite items from the box have to be, the Essie Nail Lacquer and the Model Co Cheek & Lip Tint. Both are products I know I will definitely buy again.
First off is the Essie polish. Now I've actually bought Essie polishes in the past and I've never been disappointed. I love their really on trend range of shades and the polish itself I find is fabulous quality for the price. This particular polish is a lovely pale lilac shade (I appreciate it looks more grey in the pictures but trust me, it definitely has a pastel hue to it). It has taken 2 or 3 coats to get the finish you can see in my pictures but it's definitely a spring shade I'll be using alot.
The Model Co Cheek & Lip Tint is a product I've never come across before if I'm honest. I don't tend to ever use these types of 'tints' but I've noticed them popping up a lot in cosmetic ranges just recently so I'm guessing they're gonna be pretty big for Spring/Summer 2013.
This one is extremely long lasting. I dabbed a little onto my lips hours ago and it's still there! It gives a lovely little pop of colour on the lip without being dry, sticky or gloopy and is just enough colour to set off your Spring daytime makeup look, also just a tip with this, don't be tempted to use too much of the product a little bit really does go a long, long way. Anyway here's a snap of the tint on my lips, I appreciate my ridiculous pose probably doesn't do it much justice, but trust me...
Definitely 2 products I'll be using in the future, so cheers for bringing these little gems into my life Glossybox!
BIG LOVE
XOXOX
