Project D: Simply Be OOTD

So My Loves....

I have another Simply Be dress to show off to you!

I know, I have quite the addiction to them, but what can I say? If it ain't broke, don't fix it and well, Simply Be never fails to bring out an outstanding dress.

This dress is from Simply Be's new collaboration with Project D London the fashion brainchild of Dannii Minogue and Tabitha Somerset Webb. Now, I know Simply Be have lots of awesome collabs, but for me this one is quite something. When Project D was first released in mainstream fashion it went quite high profile from the outset with their pieces retailing in high end price brackets alongside other high end designers, so for a collaboration like this to hit plus size retail is quite something.

I, alongside 4 other of my very favourite blogger beauties were asked if we would like to play dress up in the Lincoln Print Maxi and style it in each of our very individual ways.

Beautiful Print...

I have to admit, when I saw the collection launched this dress was instantly my favourite item, I love a maxi, they're so feminine, beautiful and just generally easy to wear, they're statements in their own right I feel and this one was no disappointment in the maxi stakes.

Even though we're about 6 inches deep in snow here in the Midlands at the moment, it didn't put me off envisaging wearing mine dressed up for cocktails with the girls or a summer BBQ.

Tan block heels, a statement necklace and a cute, cropped denim jacket and that was me done, here's how it looked...

Lincoln Print Maxi Dress (54 Inch) - £140 Project D for Simply Be

I absolutely *heart* this dress! Yes, it is pricey, but it is stunningly beautiful. It will look just as good done up to the nines as it would for a more casual dressed down look, maybe some peep-toe flats? Definitely! My only gripe with the dress is underneath the beautiful chiffon overlay is a satin lining which is rather snug. The rest of the dress fitted me perfectly (I'm wearing a UK size 30) plenty of room in the bust etc, but the lining is quite tight around my tummy, it's still wearable as you can't notice it through the chiffon but it may need adjusting from time to time, other than that, it's perfect!

I have  a big party with my work lot coming up over bank holiday weekend and this is my dress, it's decided already, nothing else will do now this is in my life!

What do you think guys? Also don't forget to check out how all the other beautiful bloggers styled theirs, Becky, Claire, Laura and Betty!

BIG LOVE!
XOXOXOX
