Weekend Round Up...

Super short post from me, mainly picture based as I'm shattered after a very busy few days!

I've spent a very long weekend in London, I popped along to the Press Launch of British Plus Size Fashion Weekend, caught up with amazing people and did a photo shoot with the very awesome Velvet D'Amour for Volup.2! WOW!

I don't have a massive amount to say about British Plus Size Fashion Weekend if I'm honest, the concept was great, the press it invited and focus it gave to the plus size industry was great but the actual event itself (well the bit I attended) could have been a lot better.

The British Plus Size Fashion Weekend was opened in a tiny, sweltering room, upstairs of a very unwelcoming Shoreditch bar. It was a great opportunity to see so many amazingly dressed, fabulous women, enthusiastic brands whom couldn't wait to show you their products and mingle with members of the industry and I wholeheartedly applaud the organisers for trying to pull it all together but for me, it just didn't excite me the way other Plus Size Events have. Hopefully the team over at LPSFW/BPSFW will take the learns from their first time around and use them to make any 2014 event an absolute smash. In the meantime though I am thoroughly looking forward to this years Autumn installments of Plus London and Plus North, please check them out and get involved!
