Evenin' my loves!
So, here is my first post of our little Plus Size Work Wear Challenge!
Week 1's theme is 'How To 'Werk' The Blazer' and I have to admit, this is the one I dreaded!
I only own one blazer and I literally only bought it a few weeks ago from the So Fabulous range at Very.com. This blazer is comfy and casual but it has a very relaxed feel about it as it's very slouchy and quite boxy. Although I don't believe in living by the 'flattering' rule, in hindsight I don't think I'm overly keen on this blazer with this skirt, I'd have liked something more fitted to show off the flare of the skirt, but I still don't think it looks bad at all. What do you think? This is how I 'werked' my blazer....
Blazer aka 'Dinner Jacket' - £27 So Fabulous @ Very
Chiffon Skirt - Domino Dollhouse
Black Rouched Sleeve Top - H&M+
50 Denier Black Tights - £16.95 The Big Bloomers Company
Gold Leaf Belt - Matalan
Black Patent Court Shoes - George @ Asda
Gold & Black Flower Necklace - Primark
This was definitely the most difficult theme for me but it's made me determined to try much harder next week! Please excuse the washed out look, I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup for work and after a day of banking it's enough to leave anyone looking a bit grey around the gills! Oh and I'm thinking of starting a 'Donate to get Naomi a tripod' campaign because the pictures my mom takes are just getting worse and worse! Fancy contributing??? Ha!
Anyway, don't forget to check out the other girls who are taking part, their posts will be up during the week and you can find links to all of their blogs in this post HERE! Let me know if any of it inspires you! Would love to see any of your work wear pictures too!
Big Love
